A beam filled barn in the valley of the Windmill from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, our brief was to create a party barn for a large family to entertain in. We used concrete floors and large floor to ceiling glass doors to bring a contemporary feel to the old and charismatic barn and created a mezzanine bedroom on top of some library joinery.
